The French Optical Society has
awarded Claude Weisbuch with the €20000 Leon Brillouin Prize. This prize is intended to reward a
world-renowned optician who performs an important part of their research in
France. He will be presented with
this award during the general conference of the SFO, to be held in Marseille,
France from July 4-7, 2011.
